SMS Notifications

Last Updated: August 20, 2026

BEVIO (operated by Mixed Tap Beverage Kegging LLC) sends transactional SMS notifications to authorized employees of our business customers—bars, restaurants, and venues—about their keg orders and deliveries.

This page documents what messages we send, how recipients opt in, and how to stop receiving messages.

Who receives messages

SMS notifications are sent only to business employees (managers, administrators, drivers, location staff) at customer locations who have been enrolled by a business administrator and have confirmed opt-in. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS, and we do not send messages to consumers.

What messages we send

All BEVIO SMS messages are operational and transactional. Examples include:

  • Order confirmations: “BEVIO: Your order #1042 for 2 kegs has been received. Scheduled delivery: Fri 3/20.”

  • Keg fill notifications: “BEVIO: Your keg fill is complete and ready for delivery.”

  • Delivery scheduling: “BEVIO: Delivery scheduled for Friday 3/20 between 10am–12pm.”

  • Driver en-route alerts: “BEVIO: Your delivery is on the way. Driver John Smith is en route to Cheerful Tortoise. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

  • Delivery completion: “BEVIO: Your delivery is complete. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

Message frequency varies by order activity, typically 2–10 messages per week per recipient.

How to opt in

BEVIO users opt in to text messages themselves, inside the BEVIO application. An administrator can never create consent for someone else, and adding or saving a phone number never creates consent on its own.

During account setup (and any time later under My Profile → Notifications), each user is shown a dedicated SMS Opt-In step:

  • Each phone number gets its own explicit decision, and the consent checkbox is unchecked by default.

  • The full disclosure is shown at the point of consent: what messages BEVIO sends (scheduling, ordering, delivery, account, and operational updates), that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, and that you can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

  • Consent is optional and not a condition of employment or of using BEVIO. Users can choose "Remain Opted Out" and continue using BEVIO fully.

  • Each consent is recorded with a timestamp and the exact disclosure version the user saw.

  • Age verification: users provide their date of birth during account setup. Users under 21 are restricted from receiving any alcohol-related updates or alerts.

After opting in, users receive a one-time confirmation text: "BEVIO: You're subscribed to recurring operational texts about your account and activity within businesses you access through BEVIO, including scheduling, orders, deliveries, keg fills, and service requests. Msg frequency varies, typically 2–10 msgs/week. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to unsubscribe."

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any BEVIO text at any time and delivery to that number stops immediately. Reply HELP for help. Users can also turn off SMS entirely, change numbers, or mute notifications for an individual business under My Profile → Notifications, or contact support@beviops.com.

Privacy and data sharing

BEVIO does not share phone numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS data is used solely to deliver the transactional messages described above. See our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions for full details.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply. BEVIO does not charge for SMS notifications, but your mobile carrier may.
